This study abroad program is an intense visual experience. It offers a rich overview of Italian art, history, and culture. Students will gain information unattainable in any classroom. Beyond the knowledge acquired through scheduled academic activities, students will broaden their perspective of the world through daily interaction with Italian people and culture.

Eligibility and selection process Undergraduate and graduate students of all majors who are in good academic standing are encouraged to apply.

Living arrangements Participants stay in centrally-located housing in Rome, Florence, Padua, and Venice.
Courses and credits Undergraduate (up to 20 hours) and graduate (up to 18 hours) credit. Course options include:

- AH 440/AH 540: Selected Topics in Art History: Donatello & the quattrocento
- AH 440/AH 540: Selected Topics in Art History: Michelangelo & the cinquecento
