Courses and Credits (tentative): Participants will choose from the following courses for a full academic load: - LING 275 - Language and Culture: The development of national and European identity through the discourse of soccer 1953-2006 - 4 credits
LING 390 - The Language of Women and Men - 4 credits BA 325J - Social, Legal, and Ethical Responsibilities of Individuals in the Workplace (fulfills Junior composition requirement) - 4 credits ENG 201 - Critical Approaches to Fiction: 19th century American Travel Writing - 4 credits ENG 311 American Literature: 1865-1918: Representations of national identity by Americans abroad - 4 credits INST 118 European Studies - 4 credits POLS 311 Politics in Western Europe - 4 credits Everyone enrolls in:
- German at appropriate level - 8 credits
- ML 250F - Field Studies in Germany - 2 credits
- FAR 150 Viewing Performances - 2 credits

Orientation: The spring program has a required orientation during the winter quarter. Times and dates will be announced.
