OEA Pre-Departure Sessions

Bobcats Abroad
Several Ohio University offices present at this session, mandatory for all OU students studying abroad. Topics covered include the student code of conduct, judicial policies, health and safety abroad, cross-cultural communication, and practical tips for travelers from our OEA peer advisors. Bobcats Abroad is held twice every quarter.

  • Bobcats Abroad for spring programs:
    • Wednesday, February 22nd in Bentley 306, from 6-8 PM
    • Friday, February 24th in Bentley 132, from 1-3 PM

Missed the presentations?
If you missed the presentation, you are required to complete the Bobcats Abroad Quiz.  Please do so and return to Walter International Education Center, 15 Park Place. You can access the list of helpful websites handed out at Bobcats Abroad here.

Note: Choosing not to attend the presentations and completing the Bobcats Abroad Quiz in its place is not permitted.  Students who miss the presentations will be required to hand in a written excuse stating the reason he or she could not attend either session.
