Trouble logging in to the online application?

Due to a change in an authentication method in IT, some student OHIO IDs and passwords are no longer recognized by our system. The simple fix is to go to www.ohio.edu/tech and change your password. You can change it back to your old password immediately, if you like. This will kick your information back to the application system and it will work just fine. Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience!

Once you have been accepted to the program, please submit the following forms:

• Embassy Registration Form
  
• HTH International Health Insurance Form
  
• A copy of the photo page of your passport
  
• Flight Itinerary (not necessary if this is a group flight purchased by the the OEA)

Ohio University Exchange

Non-OU Program (for credit)

If you are participating in a program not sponsored of Ohio University and you will be receiving transfer credit for your studies, you will need:

• Foreign Study Checklist*
  
• A copy of the photo page of your passport
  
• Flight Itinerary
• Verification of Overseas Enrollment

*Please visit the Office of Education Abroad to obtain the Foreign Study Checklist.

Independent study, research trip, or Ohio-affiliated travel

If you are doing an independent study or research abroad outside of an organized program, you will need:

• OHIO-Affiliated Travel Form Packet
  
• A copy of the photo page of your passport
  
• Flight Itinerary

If you are planning to seek transfer credit for your studies, you will need the Foreign Study Checklist from the section above. If you are receiving credit directly through your college here at Ohio University, this is the form for you.
