What are the benefits of study abroad for someone in Business?
No matter where a business student’s career path may ultimately lead, an understanding of international issues is critical in today’s globalized business environment. Knowledge about international trade and global economic forces, as well as the skills needed to work in a multicultural setting, are no longer specialized attributes – they are essential. Students can learn about international business in a classroom, but direct experience with the culture, language, business practices and socioeconomic features of a foreign country is an invaluable asset to a business education. Studying abroad provides students with practical advantages as business professionals and gives them a competitive edge in the global job market.
