Ohio University Partner and Affiliate Programs

Partner Programs

The Ohio International Consortium (OIC) offers additional study abroad programs through other public universities in Ohio. The OIC also gives students access to programs offered through University Studies Abroad Consortium.

Affiliate Programs

Affiliates are trusted providers who offer additional study abroad options:

  • American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS): South Africa

  • Center for International Studies (CIS through IEP at OHIO): South Africa and Ghana

  • Cultural Experiences Abroad (CEA): South Africa

  • Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE): Botswana, Ghana, Morocco, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania

Non-Ohio University Programs

Non-OU programs increase your options for studying abroad. Research these programs online at www.iiepassport.org or www.studyabroad.com. Please note the following for Non-OHIO Programs:

  • Federal financial aid only will apply.
  • You receive transfer credit and must complete a Foreign Study Checklist before you go.
  • Program length will vary (short-term and long-term available).
