Tom Padron

Dr. Padron holds a Ph.D. in Organization & Management with a specialization in Leadership, from Capella University, a Master’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management with a specialization in Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management with a concentration in Food & Beverage, both from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and two Associates degrees, one in Culinary Arts and one in Food Service Production, both from Madison Area Technical College.  Padron also earned a Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) certification.


He has held many positions in the hospitality industry including: Chef, Sous Chef, Banquet Chef, Director of Catering, Foodservice Director, and Foodservice Manager. His passion is the hospitality industry, specifically the food and beverage sector as well as the travel and tourism industries.  This leads Padron to be constantly researching and keeping abreast of the exciting changes and evolution that will ultimately affect the entire hospitality, travel and tourism industries.
