The Praxis I exams are academic skills assessments required for all students in teacher preparation programs at Ohio >University for admission to professional education. The tests are designed to measure reading, writing, and mathematics skills and are available through either a paper-based or computer-based format. Required scores for admission to professional education at Ohio University:
- Reading – 173
- Mathematics – 172
- Writing – 172
NOTE: The Praxis I requirement may be waived for entering students with an ACT composite score of 21 or higher OR an SAT combined score of 990 or higher.
