The Master's in Coaching Education program will help you coach at a higher level, and advance your coaching career. Through courses covering topics such as management and leadership in sports, the psychology of coaching, performance and conditioning for coaches and tips on coaching the elite athlete, this program prepares you to enhance your coaching ability and acquire positions of leadership at all levels of coaching.
The Patton College of Education at Ohio University and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) are pleased to announce the availability of a new master's track in Recreation and Sport Science with a concentration in Soccer Coaching.
OU Campus Programs
The coaching education program provides students with cutting-edge information and practical experience to pursue a coaching career in youth sports, interscholastic or intercollegiate athletics, and Olympic or professional sports.
The graduate Recreation Studies program is designed to prepare students to work in administration of park and recreation programs and facilities, collegiate recreation, university teaching, research and extension, outdoor recreation and education, ecotourism and adventure travel operations and guide services, and leisure and recreation program development and evaluation.
