for Undergraduate Students
- The Herbert G. Davis
Memorial Scholarship
- This scholarship is given annually to an Ohio University
student majoring in economics who demonstrates both academic merit
and financial need. The specific monetary value of the scholarship
is determined annually.
- The John M. Peterson
Memorial Award
- This scholarship is given annually to the best paper written
by an Economics HTC or graduate student at Ohio University. To be
considered for the John M. Peterson Memeorial Award, papers should
be forwarded to the Department of Economics, Ohio University, 203
Haning Hall, Athens, OH 45701. The specific monetary value of the
of the sholarship is determined annually.

The Gene Chapin Memorial
Award
- This economics award is given annually on the basis of a
contest open to all undergraduate students in the state of Ohio.
Scholarly papers dealing with some facet of economics may be
submitted. Announcements about the contest are made early in the
spring.
- The McCrory
Scholarship
- This award is shared between the Dep
artment of Modern
Languages and the Department of Economics. It is an annual award
to a student majoring in economics who demonstrates financial
need.
- Financial Assistance for
Graduate Students
- The Department of Economics offers competitive graduate
research associateships that include a tuition scholarship.
