Graduate Financial Economics - Pickerington

All classes meet on Saturdays at Ohio University-Pickerington Center.

Curriculum

The program requires 52 credit hours: 20 hours in Economics, 20 hours in Finance, 8 hours in Accounting, and 4 hours for a research project. The program is structured so that all academic requirements can be completed in four semesters, beginning in January and ending with fall semester of the following year. To finish the program, participants will complete an in-house research project.

All students follow a set curriculum beginning in spring semester (Jan.).

Macroeconomics and Business Fluctuations

Summer Semester:
Financial Statement Analysis (MFE 6110)
Quantitative Analysis for Financial Markets
(MFE 6000)

Fall Semester:
Managerial Economics (MFE 6050),  Corporate Finance (MFE 6200)

Spring Semester:
Fixed Income Analysis (MFE 6500) 
Portfolio Theory (MFE 6230)

Summer Semester:
International Trade and Financial Economics (MFE 6400)
Statistics and Econometrics: Theory and Application (MFE 6390)

Fall Semester:
Quantitative Analysis in Equity Markets (MFE 6220)
Financial Derivatives (MFE 6440) and Research Project (MFE 6960)
