Graduate Financial Economics - Athens

Admission Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Basic knowledge of windows, a word processor, spreadsheet, and power point
  • A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a scale of 4.0 is required
  • Results of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) are required but exceptions can be made based on academic record. For information about these exams call (740) 597-1537 or visit www.ohiou.edu/etc.
  • Result of TOEFL for international student
  • An official copy of all college/university transcripts including one showing a baccalaureate from an accredited college or university
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • An application completed online
  • Personal statement outlining the career objectives of the candidate

Application is available online. You can get the application form at the following web location: http://www.ohio.edu/graduate/apply.cfm.

Official transcript(s) and TOFEL scores (for international applicants) should be sent to:
