Graduate Program: Applied Economics
Difference from the Financial Economics Track
The MA program in Applied Economics emphasizes solving real-world problems. It prepares students for employment opportunities at government agencies, international organizations, and in the private sector including financial institutions. The master of Financial Economics prepares students for employment opportunities mainly in the financial sector, and includes study of accounting and finance as well as economics.
