Creating a working model for an ecologically sustainable landscape plan in terms of food, fuel and water use that aims to maximize native plant use, eliminate the use of artificial chemicals, and provide and maintain habitat and native wildlife.

Education and Outreach
Incorporating volunteerism into the projects of the Eco-house, integrating sustainability into OU curricula, and creating an educational network in the community that provides recognition or certification for those involved.

Renovations
Coordinating renovation projects, efficiency upgrades, and installation of alternative energy systems at the Eco-house.
