Summer Start for 2013

REGISTRATION PROCESS

To participate in the Summer Start Freshman Experience, fill out the registration form. Registration to the program for second session on campus classes and online classes is due May 31, 2013.

Be sure to request to have your final official high school transcript sent to our admissions staff as soon as possible!

Please follow these steps to complete the housing contract if you choose to participate second session on campus:

Go to www.ohio.edu/housing Select "Apply Online"
Enter student OHIO ID and password
Select "Summer Contract"
Read the terms and conditions of the contract
Select "Summer Start" from the drop-down menu which asks "in which summer program will you be participating?"
Answer the questions
Select meal plan
Submit contract

Housing deposit

Housing for Summer Sessions 2013 will be in Shively and Tiffin Halls. For detailed information and to complete the Housing application after April 1 visit Residential Housing www.ohio.edu/housing.

2013 housing costs for Summer Sessions:

Shively Hall double occupancy - $1,505 first or second session only
Tiffin Hall double occupancy - $1,412 first or second session only

2013 meal plan rates:

14-Meal Plan - $1,021 first or second session only
20-Meal Plan - $1,091 first or second session only

You will receive confirmation of your participation in the program, along with more specific program information, optional programming seminars, extracurricular events, and roommate details during the week of June 2, 2013.

If you plan to take online classes, you will receive course registration information and advising shortly after your program registration is received.
