TEXTBOOKS AND MATERIALS
Most Ohio University courses require textbooks and/or other materials. Text and materials requirements for each course are listed in the course offerings. (Course offerings are available from the course offerings page.) You will also find the book listed on the course syllabus. It is important to order your books in time to receive them by the time you start your first day of a class.
When purchasing materials from any vendor you should provide the following information to assure the correct edition:
- ISBN #
- author
- title
- edition (if applicable)
Degree Completion Students and Graduate Online Students
- Visit the ED MAP online bookstore. All your text requirements should be available here.
- Select your program.
- Select your class from the drop-down list and click "Go."
You also can contact the ED MAP bookstore by phone at 1-800-274-9104. When you call, you will need to identify yourself as a student in the online degree completion program and provide your course number(s) to ensure you get the right editions.

ED MAP accepts debit and credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. They also accept checks and money orders. Orders placed via check or money order are held until receipt of payment. Sales tax is charged on all orders shipped to addresses within the state of Ohio. You will receive a copy of the invoice enclosed with your order showing all prices, applicable taxes and shipping charges.
