Freshman Admissions Criteria

Ohio University Eastern offers a tremendous opportunity for all students seeking higher education. Part of our mission as a regional campus is to make higher education accessible to all students in our local communities. We are an open-enrollment institution, which means OUE’s University College is open to everyone with no particular admissions criteria.

Ohio University-Eastern has a rolling admissions policy which means that students may be admitted anytime during the year. Applicants for the Fall Quarter will be accepted until class begin.

Restrictive and selective criteria are in effect for some of our academic programs. Admission to Ohio University Eastern does not automatically guarantee admission into a specific college or program within the University.
