The faculty at the Eastern Campus instituted a mandatory final exam schedule several years ago. The idea behind this schedule is to spread exams over a week-long period by alternating exam days for courses which meet twice a week and to allow classes which meet less than two hours per session to have a full two hours for their exams. In case of a conflict, the instructor of the course with the higher number should be approached by the student about making an accommodation. Please note that some courses do not meet at their normal times. Courses meeting only once a week, labs, and multicampus (Interactive TV) courses are unaffected by this schedule.

* Evening classes meeting two nights a week only; those which meet one night a week have their exam that night. Students are not required to sit more than 3 exams in one day. (OU Catalog, p31).
