Approval to Take a Course by Arranged Study
- Full-time, permanent part-time, and administrative mailboxes are housed in Room 305. Students may leave a message or drop off an assignment for an instructor in their mailbox.
- Students occasionally arrange with an individual instructor, on an independent basis, to take a class which is not offered on this campus. The student needs to meet with the instructor and have the complete Request for Arranged Study Form signed by the instructor before bringing it to the Faculty Chairperson for permission.
- Any student who feels that he/she has been treated unfairly in the classroom for any reason should report it to the Faculty Chairperson. This could be a complaint concerning grading policies, failure to comply with the syllabus, harassment, or any reason the student feels needs to be discussed. A student who wishes to contest a grade should file a formal grievance with the Faculty Chairperson within 2 weeks of grade distribution.
