As dean of Ohio University’s Eastern Campus, I would like to personally thank you for your interest in Ohio University and taking the time to visit our Eastern Campus website. I hope that you find it easy to navigate and helpful in discovering the wide range of educational, cultural and extracurricular experiences that are available to you at OUE.
Ohio University’s commitment to the citizens of the Ohio Valley began over fifty years ago in Martins Ferry and continues to evolve today at our beautiful campus in St. Clairsville. We are very proud of our past and equally excited about the increasing opportunities that are currently available to our growing student body.
Our current students can pursue Ohio University bachelor degrees in several different programs entirely at the Eastern Campus. As a result, our graduates have become teachers, social workers, business leaders, health care administrators, physical therapists and community leaders. This is truly remarkable and proof positive that “You don’t have to go away….to go far!”
These opportunities would not be possible without the high quality and dedication of our exceptional faculty. They do an outstanding job providing the intellectual challenge expected from a major university, while maintaining the individual attention and personal touch associated with a small, exclusive college.
I am also very proud to have staff who care greatly about our students and provide many support services that are crucial to their academic success. Finally, I am grateful to our students who have the courage and vision to pursue higher education and to their families who sacrifice so much to make their college education possible.
In closing, I hope you have the chance to visit our campus soon to learn more about the great possibilities the campus has to offer to our students and community. In the meantime, feel free to call the campus telephone number below for more information. We, as always, are here to serve you.
