Ohio University Eastern students make history

Aaron Sheehan-Dean

Ohio University Eastern students (l-r) Tasha Headley, Stephanie Stewart, and Nichole Hudson recently made history as they were selected for the Ohio University Alpha Beta Chapter of the Phi Alpha National Honor Society. This marks the first time in the history of Ohio University that students from a regional campus have been chosen for this exclusive honor society for social work majors. To be named to the Phi Alpha Honor Society, a student must have achieved sophomore status, declared social work as a major, earned a grade point average of at least 3.25 in required social work courses and an overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Headley, Hudson, and Stewart will officially be inducted on March 16 in Athens.
