The Ohio University Eastern Campus Choral Union is a choral ensemble consisting of students, faculty, alumni and community members, under the direction of Mary Jo Magyar of St. Clairsville.

“The Belmont County area has a wealth of musical talent that does not have a central location for rehearsals and performances,” Magyar said. “We hope to unite as many people who share an interest in music as possible.”

The choral union at OUE will provide an opportunity for vocalists to sing secular and sacred music that is not always feasible for church choirs and school ensembles. The chorus also provides an opportunity for singers to improve their vocal skills, sing various styles of music and share in the enjoyment of music.
