OUE Bobcat Depot is now closed

Bookstore Closed

As previously announced, the OUE Bobcat Depot/Bookstore, formally operated in cooperation with Auxiliary Services in Athens, was essentially closed for business in October.

Book Rental Return

The only major exception is that books rented through the OUE bookstore for the Fall 2017 semester can be returned through drop off at the OUE Library Front Desk during normal hours of operation. The deadline for rental book drop off is Thursday, December 14 at 7PM. Please be sure to return rentals on time to avoid extra costs! Please contact Amber Crosbie (crosbie@ohio.edu) in Auxiliary Services if you cannot meet the December 14 deadline.

Fall Book Buy Back

A representative from Rivalry Books will be on campus from 8am to 3pm, Monday through Thursday of Fall Semester's Finals Week (December 11-14, 2017) in the Shannon Hall Lobby buying used textbooks.

 

 

As of the Spring 2018 semester, traditional students will need to purchase or rent books online or at off-site retail venues. Veteran students will also need to purchase or rent books online or at off-site retail venues and be reimbursed through their educational case managers. College Credit Plus students will need to obtain their books through their high schools.

Students can also check with the OUE Library or OhioLink to see if required books and materials may be borrowed or are on reserve.
