Applied Management

The Bachelor of Science in Applied Management (BSAM) prepares students for advancement in the field of management. A BSAM degree can lead to an immediate career in management or entry into a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program or other graduate studies. While this degree is intended as a completion program for those with a two-year degree program from an accredited community college, regional campus or technical college, students coming directly from high school can plan for a BSAM degree.

Important Information for Students

A internship for academic credit is one of the highlights of BSAM. Students develop their internship proposals well in advance. Assistance in finding internship opportunities is provided at internship information sessions, through peer-to-peer internship discussions, and in conjunction with OU Eastern’s Internship and Career Services. Please meet with Lisa Jeffries, Internship and Career Specialist to discuss your career goals and internship interests. An early start on internship and career planning is advised.
