Master's Degrees

Ohio University Eastern Campus offers programs leading to a master’s degree using the “cohort” system. A cohort or group of 20-30 students enroll in a program and follow a curriculum that usually lasts two to three years depending on the program. Each class in the program is offered once during this period and all of the students in the cohort take the course together. Previously earned credit is sometimes acceptable in such programs as long as the courses are recent and from regionally accredited institutions.
