Research Interest

     Family-focused care and health concerns of those in Appalachia, especially the rural or those identified as ‘distressed’ or ‘at risk’ by their economic indicators; family support and self-management of type 2 diabetes and the development of a toolkit entitled Diabetes: A Family Matter.
