Welcome to The Diabetes Institute at Ohio University

Who We Are: A collaborative group of research scientists, clinicians, professors, educators, health administrators and students with a common interest in diabetes.

What We Do: Stimulate collaborative research across colleges and disciplines at Ohio University in the area of diabetes and create mentors and research opportunities for undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates as well as pre-tenured faculty.

Our Mission: To improve the quality of life for those affected by diabetes and related diseases through innovative basic and translational research, progressive clinical care, education and community outreach.

Our Vision:  A Diabetes-Free Society.
