This event is usually done in the fall of large election years and is geared toward promoting voter registration, education and participation in the electoral process of our country. We encourage students to get politically involved and to provide useful tools on how to stay well informed on campaign topics and voter concerns through multiple sources of media.
| | Ol' School Games
This event is usually done in the fall and gives students a chance to enjoy physical activity by participating in games we all used to play as children such as: kickball, freeze tag and hide-and-go-seek, while meeting new students and reconnecting with old ones.
| | Lounge 1913
Lounge 1913 is a program to celebrate the founding and history of Delta SigmaTheta Sorority Inc. The purpose of this program is to provide both theOhio University and the Athens community with a healthy alternativelate night program. Some of the activities will include board games,karaoke, poetry, song, and dance.

This event involves group discussions with Ohio University students about issues facing the black community.
| | National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness
This day is observed nationally on February 7, but the Epsilon Iota chapter is committed to drawing attention to the HIV/AIDS epidemic all year long. In the past, EI has collaborated and taken part in events such as discussion forums, the "I KNOW" t-shirt campaign, memorial programs and speakers.
| | May Week
For one week in May, the Epsilon Iota chapter provides programming to fulfill each of Delta Sigma Theta’s five- point programmatic thrust. Past programs have included “Celebration of The Arts" -a visit to many countries in a night filled with music, dance, poetry, and other performances from around the world, “Delta Workout Plan" - a fun way to get fit for the summer, and "Dimes to Dollars" - an economic workshop providing information for students featuring financial advisors, ending the week with “The Crimson and Crème Ball in co-sponsorship with the men of Kappa Alpha Psi.
This event is a celebration of the Chartering of the Epsilon Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. It includes icebreakers and discussion on important issues affecting our communities.
This is a program designed to move students into action. In addition to learning about successful forms of activism, this program's discussion questions and speakers focus on what is worth fighting for today.
