Dean of Students

The Dean of Students' Citation is an award presented to an Ohio University student (undergraduate or graduate) by the Dean of Students for exceptional leadership contributions to the campus community. Students can be recognized for service in a formal leadership role, for specific accomplishments, for outstanding service to a program or a department, etc. Recipients can be nominated by any member of the faculty or staff; in addition, some Citations are initiated directly by the Dean of Students. Citations can be requested throughout the academic year.

PLEASE NOTE: Citations are intended for individuals only, not entire student organizations or departments. These are meant to single out truly exceptional students to recognize their accomplishments.

The Citation itself is an attractive certificate on quality paper stock that is customized with the student's name, the reason for recognition, and a signature from the Dean of Students.

If you are a member of the faculty or staff and would like to nominate a student for a Dean of Students' Citation, please fill out the form found at the link below and send this information via e-mail (sillery@ohio.edu) or fax (740-597-3301) to Debby Sillery in the Dean of Students' office.
