This summer, was my last “Cutler” summer, but it is certainly not my last experience abroad. I will forever have a thirst for traveling and learning. However, no matter how many trips I take, this summer will always stand out from the others in my mind. It will stand out as a summer of warmth and family... ” 

I spent two months in the Marche Region of Italy in the town of Porto Recanati. This is considered a very rural region in Italy. In the summer it is characterized by hills of sunflower fields, clear skys and a bright blue sea. While in this beautiful region in Italy, I lived with a host family as their private English tutor and live-in babysitter. This hardly felt like work. My host family and all of their friends were so amazing that I gladly spent all day talking and laughing with them..."
