iCUE Spotlight: July 12-July 19, 2018

Take a look at the upcoming events on the official OHIO Calendar of University Events. Anyone with an active OHIO ID can log in and complete the form to add events that are sponsored by any OHIO planning unit or registered student organization.

So be sure to add your OHIO events, programs and deadlines to the CUE to help keep all members of our University community in the loop!

Here’s a look at a few upcoming events:

Athens Walk-In Free Medical Clinic 

9-11 a.m. Friday, July 13 | Grosvenor Hall 055 Heritage Community Clinic

This free medical clinic is open to qualifying low-income, uninsured and under-insured adults ages 18-64. 

Active Shooter Training 

10 a.m.-Noon Friday, July 13 | Baker University Center  

Test your readiness, learn about options and gain confidence in your abilities to react should an active shooter incident occur through the training program, ALiCE (Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate). Seating is limited. To register, email wyatt@ohio.edu. A live stream of the training will be available to accommodate regional and extension campus participation.

Tour De Cause

5 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, July 14 | Herrold Hall Patio, Ohio University Lancaster  

Join the bicycle tour in support of The Lancaster Cause (TLC), a nonprofit organization committed to making Lancaster and Fairfield County a better place to live. TLC’s current goal is to eliminate the harmful effects of heroin and opiate addiction in the community. All rides start and finish at Ohio University’s Lancaster Campus. 

Child/Teen Immunization Clinic 

2:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19 | Grosvenor Hall 055 Heritage Community Clinic 

Free, routine immunizations will be available for eligible children, birth through 18 years of age. Low-cost vaccines also will be available for adults age 19 and older. No appointment necessary.

Last day to apply for graduation for summer 

Friday, July 20

Last day to withdraw from (drop) an individual class for full summer semester
