Ohio University’s compensation practices are working effectively

Ohio University continues its commitment to ensuring fair, equitable and competitive pay for its employees. As such, the University undergoes a biennial compensation equity review.

In accordance with this timeline, the University recently engaged Mercer, an expert in the compensation arena, to evaluate its compensation practices.

That review confirmed that the University’s compensation practices are working effectively to ensure that employee compensation is being determined on a non-discriminatory basis.

As a result, 42 employees representing 2 percent of the employees reviewed, were identified as needing pay adjustments. Affected employees received a communication directly from Compensation by April 19 and will see their pay adjusted in April.
