Upgrade to make Event Services’ space reservation system unavailable June 19-25

Ohio University Event Services will be unable to accept reservations for any of the spaces it manages on the Athens Campus from 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, through 9 a.m. Monday, June 25, due to a digital upgrade designed to improve the user experience.

This brief interruption in service will affect both Event Services’ Virtual Event Management System (EMS) as well as its Event Management System. During the upgrade, only the ability to reserve space will be affected; reservations already made will be honored during this period.

Event Services oversees the operations of several major event venues on the Athens Campus, including Baker University Center, Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium, the Walter Hall Rotunda, Galbreath Chapel and several outdoor spaces.
