Ohio University to host Bobcat Bashes for 2013


Fall is finally here, bringing the return of the 2013 Bobcat Bashes for both football and basketball!

Gather around and link up with fellow Bobcats in a day filled with fun and school spirit. A variety of delicious tailgate-oriented foods such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and desserts will be provided. In addition, each Bash will offer special prizes and giveaways throughout the two-hour pre-game social.  

This season, Ohio University will host Bobcat Bashes for three away football games, a Homecoming Bash in Athens, as well as a Bash for an away basketball game.

To date, the following cities will be hosting game watches: Arizona, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, DC, Dayton, Philadelphia, and Raleigh/Durham.

Sept. 1 OHIO at Louisville, Bobcat Bash at 1 p.m., Cardinal Village at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium, Louisville, KY, kickoff at 3:30 p.m.

Oct. 12 OHIO vs. Central Michigan, Homecoming Bobcat Bash at 11:30 a.m., Grover Center Atrium, Athens, kickoff at 2 p.m.

Oct. 19 OHIO at Eastern Michigan University, Bobcat Bash at 10:30 a.m., near Rynearson Stadium, Ypsilanti, MI, kickoff at 1 p.m.

Nov. 5 OHIO at Buffalo, Bobcat Bash at 5:30 p.m., University at Buffalo Stadium parking lot, Buffalo, NY, kickoff at 8 p.m.

Nov. 12 OHIO at Ohio State University, Basketball Bobcat Bash TBA, Value City Arena, Columbus, tip-off TBA.
