Compass features a Q&A with the non-bargaining Classified Employee of the Month. Each month, Classified Senate selects an employee to acknowledge and recognize as someone who is setting high standards for excellence and innovation. How surprised were you to win the Classified Employee of the Month award?
I was totally surprised.
What is your job title?
I do accounting and human resources at the Chillicothe Campus
What are the most enjoyable things about your job?
I enjoy working with my co-workers and meeting new people.
What is your hometown?
I have lived in Chillicothe since I was 3 months old
What are your long-term goals?
To continue to learn and do my best.
What was the last good book you read?
I like Nicholas Sparks books, but I also like true crime books.
If you weren’t in your present job, you would be working as a ______.
I think I am exactly where I am supposed to be.
What things in life are the most important to you?
Family, friends and job
Where is your favorite vacation destination?
Two weeks a year at Myrtle Beach. Fun! In fact I am leaving May 16 and will return June 2.
What are your hobbies?
I love to watch movies.
What are your favorite TV shows?
Criminal Minds and CSI
Who is your favorite musician?
Rod Stewart has always been a favorite.
Who is your favorite celebrity?
Sandra Bullock-She seems like a very caring person.
What is your dream car/truck/SUV?
In October I bought a 2013 Honda Crosstour and I love it.
