Ohio University Culinary Services, in partnership with Hillel House, will serve kosher-friendly food items within all dining courts and halls during Passover from the evening of April 14 to the evening of April 21.
Nelson Court will offer a variety of entrées throughout the week, including sweet and sour chicken with sliced carrots, lemon-peppered fish, beef brisket with tart cherries, honey-glazed parsnips and more. Shively Court and Boyd Dining will offer chicken soup with matzo balls and matzo.
“This is the second year that Culinary Services has collaborated with Hillel House to provide extended Passover meal options,” said Dan Pittman, assistant director of auxiliary sales. “We want to encourage a central area in which students can form a community and share a meal.”
Meat and milk products will be separated, and no leavening products will be used during meal preparation.
All dining courts offer kosher-friendly items throughout the year, and are designated with an icon located on the item’s menu card.
