From staff reports
Perhaps “one” isn’t the loneliest number after all.
In their ongoing effort to better serve OHIO’s campus customers and guests, Bobcat Essentials and Technology Depot are combining into a unified retail operation that will offer everything from textbooks and computers to academic supplies, digital accessories and apparel.
“The more each operation discussed the opportunity to combine, the more it simply made sense,” said Gwyn Scott, associate vice president of Auxiliaries.
The venue is slated to open on the first floor of Baker University Center later this year.
“We can’t wait to offer this collective retail operation to everyone at OHIO,” said Joseph Lalley, senior associate vice president of Technology & Administrative Services.
Bobcat Essentials and Technology Depot are currently holding a naming contest that allows the campus community to put its stamp on the yet-to-be-named venue.
The contest is open to all Ohio University students, faculty and staff between Thursday, Feb.13 and Wednesday, Feb.19.
