From staff reports
Ohio University Zanesville will offer a Coaching Education minor beginning spring semester. This option is open to any student who has an interest in coaching, whether at the volunteer youth level or varsity sport level.
Education majors are especially encouraged to consider this option, though it is open to any student regardless of major. Course work focuses on the development of the individual athlete, as well as strengthening the students' sport-specific skills and knowledge for coaching.
All requirements for this bachelor's minor program may be completed at the Zanesville Campus or the new Cambridge Center of Ohio University. Spring semester courses will feature Youth and Sports (COED 2120), Human Dynamics in Sport (COED 3130) and the Coaching of Baseball.
Students should contact their academic advisor or Kathy Normansell at firstname.lastname@example.org or 740-588-1430 for more information on course offerings.
