Each year, University Communications and Marketing (UCM) collaborates with units across the institution to produce many projects that promote OHIO and its programs. The University community is invited to visit www.ohio.edu/ucm/partnerships for an overview highlighting some of UCM's recent efforts.
The featured projects encompass print, video, and Web platforms as well as news, media relations, and social media. These marketing efforts have advanced significant OHIO initiatives, ranging from student recruitment and University branding to linking faculty experts with print and broadcast media outlets.
Highlights include partnership projects such as:
• Admissions campaign materials
• Quarters-to-Semesters (Q2S) videos
• OHIO Expert Directory
• "Appalachia Rising" (Compass series)
• Founders Day website
• Health Alerts
• Bobcat Student Orientation materials
• Ohio University E-tour
"As OHIO works to refocus and revitalize its brand, it becomes increasingly important to listen and learn from our various audiences so that we can continue to elevate the profile of the institution," said UCM Executive Director Renea Morris. "Authentic partnerships and collaborations are key indicators for ensuring that we stay ready and relevant, able to embrace new opportunities together."
Visitors to the site also can download wallpapers for electronic displays, available at various resolutions. This wallpaper features scenic Ohio University images and a 2012-13 calendar encompassing the months of the academic year.
UCM also publishes Compass and Compass Points, recently designated as OHIO's publication of record by President Roderick J. McDavis. The UCM team looks forward to working with more units as part of its continuing mission to tell the great stories of Ohio University.
