Women in Philanthropy logo contest calls for entries

Women in Philanthropy of Ohio University (WIP) is conducting a logo design contest and has extended the deadline to Thursday, Nov. 15.

WIP seeks submissions from creative Ohio University students and alumni for a special image to represent their organization. 2013 marks the 10th anniversary year of WIP's existence, so it was the perfect time to commemorate that occasion with a new logo.

The contest winner will be acknowledged in WIP materials by the end of 2012 and will be invited for the March 14, 2013, "WIP OHIO Women Making a Difference Conference" in Athens, Ohio. The winner will be recognized at the conference and receive complimentary registration and lodging – up to two nights.

The winner also will receive a congratulatory certificate with his or her name and the WIP logo. The mission of WIP is to foster a powerful tradition of giving and support for Ohio University and its
departments, activities and facilities. We aspire to increase the number of women who give to Ohio University by providing advocacy about women’s philanthropic issues and by training future generations of Ohio University donors.

The winning logo design should consist of an image that represents the ideology of WIP in conjunction with those of University Advancement, whose mission is to inspire meaningful investment in Ohio University by building relationships that transform lives.
