Alumni Association plans Bobcat Bash before OHIO vs. Michigan game


The Ohio University Alumni Association and the Ohio Bobcat Club are sponsoring a Bobcat Bash on Friday, March 16, prior to OHIO playing Michigan in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Midwest Second Round. The game will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. with a tip-off at 7:20 p.m. CST.

The Bobcat Bash will be held at 4 p.m. CST at Wildhorse Saloon, 120 Second Ave. North, in Nashville, Tenn. – a 6-minute walk to Bridgestone Arena. Fellow alumni, students and fans will gather to cheer on the OHIO Bobcats, MAC Tournament Champions.

Guest speakers include OHIO Athletics Director Jim Schaus, Executive Director of the Alumni Association Graham Stewart and President Roderick J. McDavis. The OHIO cheerleaders, Rufus and the 110 Pep Band will also be in attendance.

Registration for the Bobcat Bash is $15 and must be made online by Thursday, March 15 at 8 a.m. EST. Admittance includes appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages, with a cash bar available.

OHIO Athletics have sold their entire allotment of tickets for the Friday game. Tickets may be available to purchase by visiting Bridgestone Arena website www.bridgestonearena.com/index.php.
