From staff reports
Ohio University recently rescinded two polices related to the internal procedures of the University Libraries.
The first, Policy 14.001, outlined the procedures for reserving a faculty study room at Alden library. The other, Policy 14.100, covered circulation rules and regulations related to lending library materials.
According to Dean of University Libraries Scott Seaman, these procedures did not rise to the level of a University policy and are more appropriately governed by the University Libraries in conjunction with the University Library Committee. The old policies also did not take into account the upcoming transition from quarters to semesters.

Rules for loaning library materials on the Athens campus can be found here.
