When scary movies are on every channel and pumpkin lattes are all the rage you know it can only be that spooky season everyone adores. Flip on your nightlight and watch out for those ghosts and ghouls because Halloween is here.
This year, the Ohio University Program Council (UPC) is planning a series of frightfully fun activities during Shriek Week!
The Lost Flamingo Company presents "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" at the Union. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show starts at 10 p.m. Line up early because this show is a hit! Tickets are $7 for everyone under 21 and $5 for 21 and up.
Join us for some good, old fashioned ghost hunting! The authors of "Haunted Hocking" will start the evening by telling ghost stories in Bentley Hall room 129 at 7 p.m. The UPC will then provide transportation to Stroud's Run to test out the ghost hunting equipment. The ghost stories are free. Tickets to the ghost hunt are $5.
No tricks, just tasty treats! Don't miss HallowEATS Day on the third floor of Baker Center from 1 to 3 p.m. Enjoy some free Halloween themed food!
Would it be Halloween without a jack-o-lantern perched on your porch? Everyone can head to the West 82 seating area on the first floor of Baker Center from 9 to 11:30 p.m. to participate in some free pumpkin painting and carving.
To help you stay safe this year, UPC is holding HallOUween Safety 101. Get some useful Halloween safety tips (and candy!) outside of Baker Center's fourth floor from noon to 2 p.m.
