Ohio University Associate Professor of Teacher Education Eugene Geist will discuss how iPads can be used in the classroom and how students and instructors can adapt to mobile learning, 12:10-1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, in Baker University Center 239.
Geist also will talk about adjusting the pedagogy to meet the needs of an increasingly mobile generation and how well the iPad meet these needs.
His presentation will be the first in a series of faculty showcases that focus on the use of technology for enhancing teaching and learning at Ohio University. The series is coordinated by Academic Technologies. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to the talk.
