Greetings from Administrative Senate!
As an elected body of 33 Senators representing full- and part-time contract administrators at the main and regional campuses, Administrative Senate provides administrative staff at Ohio University with representation of concerns, interests and priorities; recognition for service; and participation with other representative groups in University decision-making.
Currently, there is a call to the University community – students, faculty or staff -- for nominations for Outstanding Administrator. Each year, Administrative Senate recognizes three administrators for their outstanding contributions to the University by granting them the Outstanding Administrator Award. Each recipient will be honored at an awards ceremony in late May, receive a certificate of recognition, have her/his name inscribed upon the permanent plaque in Chubb Hall and receive $1,000 to be used for professional growth activities.
