Ohio University mourns the loss of distinguished alumnus Donald Voelker
Mechanical engineering alumnus Donald Voelker, a Cleveland native, passed away on Monday. Voelker served for two years in the United States Navy before attending Ohio University, graduating in 1952.

Juli Accurso was victorious in the 3000 meter run invitational on the second day of the Meyo Invitational at Notre Dame. The sophomore set a school record and also broke the mark for fastest time ever run in the 3k by a Mid-American Conference female student-athlete.

Joe Flading is only MAC offensive lineman to earn All-America honors
Senior offensive tackle Joe Flading has been named honorable mention All-America by SI.com. He was the only offensive lineman in the Mid-American Conference to earn postseason All-American honors from SI.com.
