| Senior Dance Concert To Take Place April 13 & 14, 2013 he Ohio University School of Dance will be presenting four group and three solo dances created by the School of Dance Seniors as part of their senior capstone projects. They will be shown at the Shirley Wimmer Theater in Putnam Hall, located on East Green of the Ohio University Campus. The performances will be Saturday, April 13 at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., and Sunday, April 14 at 2 p.m.

Kennedy-Dygas named dean of the College of Fine Arts Executive Vice President and Provost Pam Benoit has named Margaret “Peg” Kennedy-Dygas as the dean of the College of Fine Arts. Kennedy-Dygas is currently the associate dean of the College of Arts at the University of Louisiana at Layfayette. She was selected as the new dean of fine arts during the course of a national search. Her term of appointment will begin on May 20.

Sandy Plunkett comic art exhibit begins Jan. 25 at Kennedy Museum Kennedy Museum of Art will host "Fantastic! The Comic Art of Sandy Plunkett," Jan. 25 through June 2. The exhibit of local artist Sandy Plunkett's comic art will feature about 50 works that exhibit his progression from his early days in the industry to his recent independent and commercial works.

Lancaster production of Chicago one of only 23 in nation The Ohio University Lancaster Theatre Department is doing one of only 23 licensed productions of Chicago in the United States this year. The actors and dancers are primarily from Fairfield, Hocking and Franklin Counties. It's a rare opportunity for aspiring actors and actresses in the region to do such a famous musical.
