Ohio University Press author and Athens resident Katherine Ziff recently spoke on Cincinnati's NPR about her book, Asylum on the Hill: History of a Healing Place. Ziff's interview, which aired close to Halloween, touched on the many legends surrounding The Ridges, including "the stain," carvings on window ledges, and lobotomies.
