Information Systems Help Desk Coordinator
Applies understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to assist internal users relating to matters of a more complex nature. Responsible for recognizing, researching, isolating and resolving information systems problems. Coordinates referrals to appropriate technical, professional or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training, and follow-up. May provide information systems library support. Offset Printing Press Operator
Operates a small offset printing press. Reviews printing work orders for special instructions. Ensures that production deadlines are met. Prepares plates, and prints and collates finished pages. Maintains constant quality inspection of printed products. Cleans, services, adjusts and makes routine equipment repairs. Ensures that adequate supplies of paper, ink, and other materials are available. Maintains records of production output.
Kitchen Assistant
Assists in preparing foods by performing a combination of the following: weighs, measures, washes, peels, cuts, grinds, breads, stirs and/or strains vegetables, fruits, meats, poultry, seafood, soups, sauces and other foods. Stores food items according to temperature requirements. Maintains kitchen work areas, utensils and equipment in clean and orderly condition. Segregates and removes garbage.
Janitor
Maintains offices, buildings or plant facilities in clean and orderly condition. Sweeps, mops and polishes floors, removes trash and litter, and cleans furniture. Makes minor maintenance repairs. May tend furnaces.
Gardener/Groundskeeper
Cuts grass, repairs damaged lawns, and prunes trees and shrubs. Lays out and tends flowerbeds or other decorative vegetation. Removes snow and ice from walks and driveways. Maintains driveways and parking lots. Performs routine cleaning and maintenance on gardening and grounds equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Inventory Control Planner
Schedules and coordinates the efficient distribution of products in order to satisfy customer demand. Analyzes and revises shipment plans as required. Works with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and accuracy of shipment records. Determines reorder points and ensures that sufficient levels of inventory are maintained. Analyzes actual product demand, trends and forecasts, and adjusts inventory plans accordingly.
Maintenance Electrician
Repairs, installs, replaces and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances. Uses hand tools and testing instruments. Inspects and tests electrical equipment, lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits. Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipment using testing instruments such as ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, testing lamp, or growler. Replaces faulty switches, sockets, and other elements of electrical systems. Dismantles electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures. Mounts motors, transformers and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Inspects completed work for conformance with requirements of local building and safety codes. Estimates time and material costs on electrical projects. Requisitions new electrical supplies and equipment. Holds an electrician's license.
General Maintenance Repair Worker
Performs maintenance service or repairs in two or more skill areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Estimates time and material costs of various projects. Requisitions new supplies and equipment.
Computer Operator
Operates and monitors computer and peripheral equipment, such as printers, tape and disk drives. Selects and loads input and output, observes operation of equipment, control panels, error lights, verification printouts, error messages and faulty output. Researches error messages and may manipulate console to resequence job steps after a job is interrupted.
Data Entry Operator
Operates a data entry device to key and/or verify a variety of standard and/or complex coded or uncoded business and statistical source data into a computer.
Print Production Coordinator
Investigates, compares and selects suppliers of marketing production services, including typography, paper and printing. Provides estimates for all printed marketing materials.
Graphic Design Specialist (Computer Assisted)
Utilizes current graphic design technology and computer software packages to produce advertisements, sales promotions and public relations material for visual communications media. Originates design, art and copy layouts. Determines style, size and arrangement of type and illustrations. Provides instructions or directly assembles and prepares final layouts for printer.
Photographer
Schedules, coordinates and provides photographic services, including stills, motions pictures and videotapes to support sales, promotions and other organization-wide needs. Provides related processing, studio and darkroom services. Collaborates with outside vendors as needed. Maintains files of projects. Arranges for the repair and maintenance of supplies and equipment.
Ceramic/Metallurgical Technician - Production and Quality Control
Performs in-process physical and analytical tests to determine whether glasses, ceramics, or metals meet prescribed formulas and standards.
Electronic Technician - Production and Quality Control
Builds and tests operability of electronic systems and components. Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning circuits. Services or calibrates electronic test equipment or electronic control systems.
Electronic Technician - Research
Assists in the development of new electronic circuits or systems. Fabricates and tests electronic circuits. Troubleshoots, modifies and repairs malfunctioning circuits or systems and makes necessary modifications or repairs. Builds prototype electronic systems.
Laboratory Technician - General
Performs chemical and physical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes or products. Assists in compiling, analyzing and interpreting results.
Data Control Clerk
Reviews source documents for data input. Checks accuracy and relevance of input and output data by visual examination, correcting codes and batching for computer processing. Verifies output against control totals, reviews format and accuracy of printouts and distributes information to appropriate departments.
Computer Magnetic Media Librarian
Maintains a library of magnetic media used for information systems. Using established procedures and methods, classifies, catalogs and issues media to computer operators, and maintains a charge-out record. Inspects returned media to determine need for replacement due to wear or damage, and arranges for return of unusable media to the manufacturer for reconditioning.
Audio Visual Technician
Sets up and adjusts audio and visual equipment to meet production requirements. Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Assists in editing tapes, incorporating graphic enhancements, videotaping and photographing events, training in television studio production, and setting up lighting and sound devices. Maintains audio and video cassette library.
