Prepares income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements and various other accounting statements and reports. Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures. Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records. Conducts special studies and develops or recommends accounting methods and procedures. Instructs or assigns work to bookkeepers and accounting clerks engaged in general accounting activities. Coordinates accounting matters with other departments, locations and divisions. Utilizes computer to input, retrieve or display accounting information. Budget Analyst
Prepares operating budgets for units or departments based on actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports and other factors. Reviews expenditures of requisitioning departments to ensure conformance to budget. Maintains records of expenses, inventories and budget balances. Audits vouchers and expense accounts. Maintains records of actual operating figures for comparison with estimated budget. Assists in the installation of budgetary control systems. Utilizes computer to input, retrieve, or display budget information.
Financial or Business Analyst
Prepares financial and business related analyses and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investment. Prepares forecasts and analyzes trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, general business conditions and other related areas. Utilizing PC and/or mainframe based systems and software; compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data developed. Assists in the development of business policies, conducts special financial and business related studies and cooperates with other departments in the preparation of analyses.
Copywriter
Writes copy on specific topics for promotions and direct mailings. Assists in the preparation of the sales/marketing program and coordinates layouts with the art department. May assist in estimating production costs or monitoring work done by outside suppliers.
Buyer
Obtains materials from suppliers at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need. Studies market trends, interviews vendors, and recommends sources of supply. Analyzes quotations received, selects or recommends suppliers, and schedules deliveries. Supervises preparation of orders and follows up to expedite delivery and shipment. Obtains certifications of delivery and conducts check against order. Checks and approves invoices for orders placed. Develops and maintains necessary records and files for efficient operation.
Statistician
Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data. Selects data samples, prepares questionnaires, and analyzes collected information according to established statistical methods. Prepares reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids.
Industrial Nurse - RN (Full-Time)
Renders professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Prepares equipment and assists industrial physician during examinations and treatments. Administers prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors employee patient vital signs. Observes and maintains records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.
